Rodgers Has More Weapons

Finally, even though the Packers didn’t go out and add much offensively, Aaron Rodgers will have more weapons to work with.

A lot of that has to do with the fact that the team’s young wide receivers will have another full offseason of work. Marquez Valdes-Scantling didn’t step up in 2019 like he was expected to and Equanimeous St. Brown missed the year due to injury.

Devin Funchess was signed in free agency as well, which could make an impact. Allen Lazard ended up working his way into the team’s No. 2 receiver role in 2019 and knows how to prepare for the 2020 season.

At the tight end position, the Packers feel like they are going to get an upgrade from Jimmy Graham to Jace Sternberger. They are very high on the second-year tight end out of Texas A&M.

Rodgers may not have gotten a ton of new weapons, but he has a lot of guys who should take a step forward and play much better this year.
