David Johnson Is No Longer A Franchise Running Back

For years, it appeared that David Johnson was going to be among the NFL’s elite running backs for a long time. Unfortunately, injuries completely derailed his career and have continued to force him out of action. Now, the Cardinals seem to have lost confidence in him.

Arizona needs a playmaking running back who can break big runs and be a receiver out of the backfield. Dobbins is capable of being that guy for them.

Dobbins is an elite runner and there are very few who will argue against that. He is also a good receiver. While he didn’t put up huge receiving numbers in college, he did show the ability to make plays in that area.

Kliff Kingsbury would have a field day with Dobbins on the roster. He would be able to get the most out of the Buckeyes’ star and Dobbins could very quickly turn into a legitimate star.
