There comes a time when every team must do a self-assessment. This offseason, it’s the Philadelphia Eagles. Just a few seasons removed from their first-ever Super Bowl Championship, the team finds itself in a bit of a dark place. There are moves that must be made and one of them involves trading wide receive Alshon Jeffery.

But it won’t be easy. Jeffery has a dark cloud hovering over him as his time with the Chicago Bears was mired in controversy and his stay with the Eagle has brought his leadership in question.

The Eagles must clean house. Despite being talented, there are rumors that he has caused issues in the locker room. Howie Roseman has always done what’s best for the team and moving Jeffery appears to be the next step in restoring order. But can he get it done?

Here are three reasons why the Philadelphia Eagles should trade Alshon Jeffery this offseason.

  1. As an Eagles fan this is one of the worst articles I’ve read since the season ended.

The question isn’t whether or not they should trade him but who would deal for him? He’s not expected to be back until Oct either.

Also, Greg Ward and Alshon don’t play the same receiver position so that’s a terrible reason to trade him. Way to grasp at straws. Trash artice.
