Why the Falcons should prioritize RB Jonathan Taylor in the NFL Draft

Jeff Hanisch-USA TODAY Sports

1. The Falcons Need An Immediate Impact Player

Finally, and most importantly, the Falcons need a running back who can come in and play an immediate role. Atlanta would find that by taking Jonathan Taylor.

Taylor has proved himself time and time again and is one of the most NFL-ready players in the draft class. That’s right, we’re not just talking about running backs. He will come in and be capable of starting right away.

Atlanta’s offense would take a big step forward with Taylor on board. Ryan and Julio Jones will have more opportunities with a legitimate ground game. Freeman was great during his time as the starter, but Taylor would be a massive upgrade in the present.
