Why the Packers should target TCU’s Jalen Reagor in the NFL Draft

Although the team recently signed wideout Devin Funchess, the Green Bay Packers are still in desperate need of receiver help.

Losing Geronimo Allison doesn’t help, even if his output last season was below average, he still took some of the pressure off Davante Adams. Towards the end of last season, opposing defenses started keying on Adams and the Packers offense started to become very predictable. Unless it was a running play, it seemed like almost every passing play was designed to get Adams the ball.

He’s one of the best in the business, so even with defenses keying on him, he still found a way to beat the coverage most of the time. But, it’s not a recipe for sustained success, and with how loaded this draft class is with receiver talent, the Packers will surely target one with their first round selection.

One name to keep an eye on, is TCU standout Jalen Reagor. He fell down some draft boards after a sub-par combine performance, but that isn’t indicative of the talent he brings on the field and the high potential he possesses.

He would be a great fit in the Packers offense if they’re able to snag him.
