3. Oakland Simply Has A Major Need At Linebacker

First up, the Raiders are in need of linebacker talent. They have some pieces defensively, but they don’t have that one inside linebacker who they can rely on to lead the middle of their defense. Murray would absolutely be that guy for the Raiders.

As he has shown in college, Murray is a top-notch tackler and he has great speed and athleticism as well. Just as importantly, Murray also has the IQ to sniff out plays as they happen.

Oakland cannot afford to pass on this kind of a defensive talent. There is a chance he could be off the board before the Raiders come on the clock, but if he isn’t, this is a no-brainer.
