Ted Ginn Jr. has been a solid role player for the Saints over the years, but he isn’t the kind of guy that can strike fear in the hearts of opposing defenses anymore. If the Saints want their offense to take the next step, they need a guy that can turn into a legitimate deep-threat superstar.
Reagor is that guy and would make an immediate impact in New Orleans. Brees is one of the best quarterbacks to ever play the game and can provide Reagor with plenty of opportunities to turn on the burners and catch the deep ball. Forcing defenses to respect the deep ball will force them to stay back a bit, which opens up the field for Michael Thomas.
New Orleans is already one of the scariest offenses in the NFL. Adding a playmaker like Reagor would make them nearly impossible to defend.
