Will Jonathan Taylor or J.K. Dobbins have the better NFL career?

Despite neither of these running backs being selected in the first round of the NFL Draft, both Jonathan Taylor and J.K. Dobbins have the potential to be stars at the next level.

Both of these backs rushed for over 2,000 yards last season and they both found the end zone over 20 times. The production out of these two was ridiculous, especially against the stellar competition in the Big 10.

Dobbins and Taylor are both entering situations where there’s already an established No. 1 back in place. For Taylor, the Indianapolis Colts already have Marlon Mack as their starting back, who’s coming off an 1,000 yard rushing season. In Dobbins’ case, he’s entering a loaded running back room with Mark Ingram, Justice Hill and Gus Edwards in Baltimore.

Neither of these backs will be leaned on as the workhorses of their offenses, which is good for their long-term health. The less wear and tear on the body early in their careers the better.

These backs will continually be linked throughout their careers due to the fact they both entered the league in the same year. With that being said, which one will have the more productive career when it’s all said and done?
