2021 NFL Draft: 3 weapons the Packers should already be targeting for Aaron Rodgers

Jaylen Waddle, Wide Receiver, Alabama

Currently, Waddle is being projected higher than the Packers are expected to pick. However, that should not make the Packers look past him.

If Waddle were to fall to the Packers, he would be an ideal fit for what Green Bay needs. He is a top-notch slot receiver, which is exactly what Matt LaFleur and company need. At 5-foot-10 and just over 180 pounds, Waddle would bring some much-needed speed to the offense.

During the 2019 season with the Crimson Tide, Waddle caught 33 passes for 560 yards and six touchdowns. He put up those numbers with both Jerry Jeudy and Henry Ruggs III on the roster, which is an impressive feat.

Waddle is going to be the next in a long line of successful Alabama wide receivers in the NFL. If he’s available, the Packers should absolutely take him.
