Rashod Bateman, Wide Receiver, Minnesota

Finally, there is one other potential impact player that the Packers could target in the first round of the 2021 NFL Draft. That player would be Minnesota Golden Gophers star wideout Rashod Bateman.

Bateman would be the most intriguing fit out of all of these options. Standing in at 6-foot-2 and 210 pounds, many believe Bateman is primed for a very successful NFL career. He wouldn’t bring quite as much speed as the other two options, but he would form a lethal duo with Davante Adams.

With the Golden Gophers last season, Bateman caught 60 passes for 1,219 yards and 11 scores. Those numbers aren’t bad at all and his skill-set would fit nicely in LaFleur’s offense.

Rodgers needs more consistent weapons. Bateman brings a very consistent brand of football to the field. This could be a very nice match for both parties.
