Forms Elite Trio Right Away

The Cowboys weren’t expecting to draft a wide receiver like CeeDee Lamb in the first round of the 2020 NFL Draft for a reason. They already had Amari Cooper and Michael Gallup heading into it, two receivers that racked up impressive numbers last season.

They ended up drafting one of the elite receiver prospects in a class considered as being one of the greatest for talent at that particular position anyways. That could end up providing them with one of the league’s elite receiver trios right out of the gate.

The Cowboys are going to be very tough to stop when using three wide receiver formations. Now they have two highly talented threats on the boundaries and upgraded from what Randall Cobb was able to bring to the table last season.

Considering the impressive production the Cowboys already achieved as a passing attack last season, they could be genuinely scary as an offense in 2020. The dynamic ability and versatility of Lamb will play a key role in maximizing their potential as a unit.
