The Minnesota Vikings were able to put together an impressive first round of the 2020 NFL Draft. They were able to snag LSU wide receiver Justin Jefferson and TCU cornerback Jeff Gladney to boost both sides of the football.
After trading star wide receiver Stefon Diggs earlier this offseason, it was obvious that the Vikings would be looking for another weapon to add to the fold for quarterback Kirk Cousins. Jefferson is exactly the kind of player that they needed to replace Diggs.
Last season with LSU, Jefferson put together a massive season alongside Joe Burrow. He caught 111 passes for 1,540 yards and 18 touchdowns. Minnesota has to be excited to get a player that put up the kind of production Jefferson is capable of.
Standing in at 6-foot-3 and just over 190 pounds, Jefferson has good size, speed, athleticism, and route running. He will form a lethal duo with Adam Thielen to keep the Vikings’ offense firing on all cylinders.
All of that being said, let’s dive in and take a look at three early predictions for Jefferson in his rookie season with the Vikings.
