2. Damon Harrison, Defensive Tackle, Detroit Lions

Next up, the Panthers should take a look at Damon Harrison. He was released earlier this offseason by the Detroit Lions and would make for a very nice addition for Carolina.

Harrison racked up 49 tackles, two sacks, and three defended passes last season. He stands in at 6-foot-3 and 351 pounds, which would help Carolina plug the line. The Panthers need to focus on improving their run defense, which Harrison could help with.

There is no telling what kind of price tag it would take to sign Harrison. If it’s affordable, the Panthers should think about this option.
