3 sleeper free agents the Redskins should target this offseason

The Washington Redskins are going through a bit of a rebuild under new head coach Ron Rivera. However, there is still hope that they can make it a quick rebuild. With the right moves this offseason, they could end up being a much more competitive football team.

Dwayne Haskins has taken over the reigns at the quarterback position. The former Ohio State star showed flashes of big talent last year, but there is a lot of work for him to put in. Derrius Guice dealt with injuries again this season, but he has the talent to be a potential workhorse running back.

Add in the fact that Terry McLaurin stepped up as a No. 1 wide receiver, and things are looking good for the offense. Defensively, Rivera has always prided himself on having an elite defense. That may not be the case this season, but they have some pieces.

Washington isn’t going to win the NFC East in 2020 barring a miracle. Dallas and Philadelphia will likely be at the top of the division. If the Redskins want to have any kind of chance, they will need to get creative in free agency to bring in the talent without spending a ton of money.

All of that being said, the Redskins need to take a look at these three sleeper free agents this offseason.
