4. Darius Leonard And The Defense Only Give Up 14 Points
One of the biggest question marks for the Colts over the last few years has been their defense. They have had trouble slowing down opposing offenses. That wasn’t the case against Kirk Cousins and the Vikings.
Indianapolis completely shut down the Minnesota offense and only allowed 11 points. They will only allow a field goal more to Sam Darnold and the Jets. The Colts might just have a lethal defensive unit this season.
3. Philip Rivers Puts Up 300 Yards, Four Touchdowns
Speaking of defense, the Jets have a very weak secondary and that will show this week against Rivers. Even though the 38-year-old quarterback hasn’t gotten off to an amazing start with the Colts, he will break out with a huge performance against the Jets.
When everything is said and done, Rivers will have thrown for 300 yards and four touchdowns. He may throw an interception as well, but the performance will be just what the Colts need to see from the veteran quarterback.
