Legacy
It seems strange to say this, but plenty is riding on this season for Tom Brady. His entire career has been spent with the New England Patriots which includes six rings and the label as the greatest QB of All Time. Great stats and accolades but at 42 years old, he’s entering a new era in his career.
What will follow Brady this season will be the question of if the success he had with the Patriots was due to his arm or the guidance of Bill Belichick? Can Brady win without Belichick? If Brady can lead the Bucs to the Super Bowl, his legacy is firmly cemented as the best.
What he’s facing is the same thing Joe Montana had to face when he left the San Francisco 49ers for the Kansas City Chiefs. While Montana failed to deliver a ring, Brady has a better chance with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2020.
