David Montgomery will turn in his best game of the year
David Montgomery has had two completely different stretches in the season. The first two games he was rushing for 64 yards and 82 yards respectively.
He has then declined significantly in the next three games with yard totals of 45, 27, and 29 yards. This is the game that he turns this streak around and has his best game of the season.
Montgomery is playing a Carolina defense that has been susceptible to the run. Chicago will want to play their style of football where they rely on their dominate defense and employ clock management to frustrate the opposing offense.
I think Montgomery gets plenty of touches and ends up rushing for over 100 yards and lands in the endzone. His ability to help in the passing game will only add to his overall performance in this game against the Panthers.
