2. Odell Beckham Jr. Gets Loose For A Long Touchdown
Beckham is not the same receiver he was with the New York Giants, that is great. He still has some wheels he can show off from time to time. He caught a long touchdown on Thursday night in Week 2 against the Cincinnati Bengals. He will have a chance against the Cowboys as well.
D.K. Metcalf was able to get behind the secondary twice on Sunday against the Cowboys. He would have had two long touchdowns if he did not have a brain lapse at the goal line on the first one.
The Cowboys did not trade for Jamal Adams and it is looking like they will miss out on Earl Thomas. This means there is no help coming in the secondary. That is not a good sign moving forward.
For Mayfield to have a big day, he will need his receivers to step up. Beckham is at the top of that list. A long touchdown in this one would spark the offense and give the Mayfield-Beckham connection confidence moving forward.
