Carson Wentz Is Playing For His Job
Through the first three weeks of the season, the Eagles have not been happy with what they have seen from Carson Wentz. After taking Jalen Hurts in the second round of the 2020 NFL Draft, Wentz could very well be playing for his job.
Dropping to 0-3-1 would put the Eagles in a world of hurt. If things aren’t working, head coach Doug Pederson could consider making a change. Giving Hurts a chance would make a lot of sense for Philly.
Wentz has completed 59.8 percent of his passes for 737 yards, three touchdowns, and six interceptions this year.
With Hurts waiting in the background, Wentz needs to have a big game against the 49ers. San Francisco doesn’t have a great secondary and the Eagles’ franchise quarterback must figure out a way to put up big numbers.
