5 bold predictions for the Eagles vs. 49ers matchup in Week 4

The Philadelphia Eagles are facing another tough test in Week 4 against the San Francisco 49ers. Both teams were expected to be contenders in the NFC at the start of the season, but three games in, the 49ers are undefeated and the Eagles are yet to win a single game.

Last week, the Eagles were unable to knock off Joe Burrow and the Cincinnati Bengals. They didn’t lose the game, but a tie isn’t what they were looking for either. An 0-2-1 record heading into Week 4 was not expected.

As for the 49ers, the injury bug has bitten them hard. Nick Bosa is done for the season, Jimmy Garoppolo and Richard Sherman have missed some time, the running backs have been banged up, the wide receivers have had multiple injury issues, and the defense is struggling to stay intact.

Despite all of the struggles for both teams, this should be a very entertaining and intriguing matchup. If the Eagles want to compete for a playoff berth this season, they must come through with a win.

All of that being said, let’s take a look at five bold predictions for the Eagles vs. 49ers matchup in Week 4.
