David Montgomery Is A Workhorse For The Bears
With the predicted struggles from Mitchell Trubisky, the Bears are going to turn to their ground attack. David Montgomery started the season with 13 carries for 64 yards against the Lions, which wasn’t a big game. He will turn that around this week.
Montgomery will end up carrying the football 20 times for 105 yards and two touchdowns this week. Chicago will need their second-year running back to step up to stay in the game offensively.
Matt Nagy has been needing a consistent running game since last season. The former Iowa State standout can be that guy. He will begin proving that he can be this week.
Chicago may not have much of a passing attack this week, as the Giants will do everything they can to shut that done. However, their focus on the pass will allow for a big-time performance from Montgomery.
