The 2024 NFL season is just around the corner, and the Green Bay Packers are looking to make a splash. With Jordan Love entering his second season as the starting quarterback, the Packers are poised for a breakout year.

After an impressive finish to the 2023 season that saw the team not only surprisingly make the playoffs, but also dominate the Dallas Cowboys in the Wild Card round, the sky is the limit. They also should have defeated the eventual NFC champion San Francisco 49ers in the divisional round.

With all of that being said, here are five early bold predictions for the green and gold in 2024.

Jordan Love Emerges As A Top-5 Quarterback

After a promising first season as the team’s starter following the Aaron Rodgers trade, Jordan Love is ready to take the next step.

With a full offseason under his belt, Love will lead the Packers to a top-10 offense in the NFL, throwing for over 4,500 yards and 30 touchdowns. His improved pocket presence and decision-making will make him a dark horse MVP candidate. He will also cement himself as a top-five NFL quarterback.

Josh Jacobs Rushes For 1,300 Yards

The Packers’ offseason acquisition of Josh Jacobs will pay huge dividends in 2024. While moving on from Aaron Jones was a difficult thing to do, Jacobs will prove to be a major upgrade.

The former Pro Bowl running back will thrive in Green Bay’s offensive scheme under head coach Matt LaFleur, rushing for over 1,500 yards and 10 touchdowns. Jacobs’ presence will also open up opportunities for Love, making the Packers’ offense nearly unstoppable.

Xavier McKinney Leads The NFL In Interceptions

Safety Xavier McKinney, acquired in free agency after leaving the New York Giants, will make an immediate impact in the Packers’ secondary.

With his ball-hawking skills and instincts, McKinney will lead the NFL with seven interceptions, earning him a Pro Bowl nod and solidifying the Packers’ pass defense as one of the league’s best.

Being able to unite with new defensive coordinator Jeff Hadley, who deploys an extremely aggressive defensive approach, will be a perfect fit for McKinney. He was already one of the NFL’s top safeties, but his game will rise to another level this season.

The Green Bay Packers Win The NFC North

With the Minnesota Vikings in a rebuilding phase and the Chicago Bears still finding their footing, the Packers will capitalize on a favorable division schedule. While the Detroit Lions are a massive threat, the Packers will find a way to get the job done.

They’ll win the NFC North with a 13-4 record, earning a first-round bye in the playoffs and setting themselves up for a deep postseason run.

Green Bay Hosts The NFC Championship Game

The Packers’ dominant regular season will earn them home-field advantage in the NFC playoffs. Lambeau Field will be rocking as the Packers host the NFC Championship Game. With Love, Jacobs, McKinney, and the rest of the veteran stars leading the charge, the Packers will be a tough out at home, setting themselves up for a potential Super Bowl appearance.

Green Bay has done an amazing job of a quick rebuild after losing Rodgers. Love and company are ready to take the next step after an impressive showing last season. It’s going to be a fun year for the Green Bay Packers’ fans out there.
