Apparently, Baltimore Ravens linebacker Patrick Queen has a negative history with Pittsburgh Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin.

The fourth-year star explained his beef with Tomlin earlier this week, saying that the bad blood dates back to his rookie campaign.

“When I was on their sideline my rookie year, Mike Tomlin was looking at me, yelling at me, ‘you’re not a Raven, you’re not a Raven. You’re not supposed be there, you’re not one of them,’ so every time I play them it’s something personal,” Queen said in a press conference, via the Ravens’ official X account.

Well, it seems safe to say that Queen has certainly ingratiated himself into Ravens culture.

The 24-year-old, who played his collegiate football at LSU, was selected by Baltimore with the 28th overall pick of the 2020 NFL Draft.

He went on to enjoy a very impressive debut season, totaling 106 tackles, three sacks, an interception, two forced fumbles, a couple of fumble recoveries and a defensive touchdown.

The following year, Queen took a bit of a step back, finishing with 98 tackles, two sacks, a forced fumble and a fumble recovery. However, Queen went on to have his best season to date in 2022, racking up 117 tackles, five sacks, a pair of picks, a forced fumble, two fumble recoveries and six passes defended.

Through the first four games of this season, Queen has logged 36 tackles and two sacks.

What’s more, Patrick Queen has yet to miss a game in his career.

The Ravens have gotten off to a 3-1 start, most recently thumping the Cleveland Browns by a score of 28-3 last weekend to jump into sole possession of first place in the AFC North.

Queen and Co. will look to improve upon their impressive start when they head to Pittsburgh to battle Mike Tomlin and the Steelers on Sunday.
