Bengals: 3 numbers for WR A.J. Green to target in 2020

1,100 receiving yards

Entering the 2016 NFL season, it appeared that Green was going to tie Randy Moss’ record of 1,000-yard seasons to begin an NFL career. From 1998-2003, Moss would string off six consecutive seasons of 1,000+ receiving yards for the Minnesota Vikings.

However, a torn hamstring would prevent Green from playing the final six games of the 2016 NFL season. As a result, the former No. 4 pick for the Bengals finished with 964 receiving yards in 2016, ending his streak of 1,000-yard seasons at five.

The last time that Green was able to produce over 1,000 receiving yards was back in 2017 — when he recorded 1,078 yards. With Green feeling rejuvenated, he could finally return to being a 1,000-yard wide receiver for the Bengals in 2020.
