With the 2020 NFL season right around the corner, the Cleveland Browns are hoping to take a big step forward and work their way back into the playoffs. In order to do so, they are going to need some players to step up. At the top of that list is star wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr.
Beckham was acquired by the Browns in a shocking blockbuster deal with the New York Giants last offseason. He was expected to come in immediately and turn the Cleveland offense into a juggernaut.
During the 2019 season with the Browns, Beckham struggled to get things going. He dealt with some injury issues as well which slowed him down. Beckham ended up catching 74 passes for 1,035 yards and four touchdowns.
Looking ahead to this year, the Browns are expecting much bigger things from him. They have the talent to be a potential Super Bowl contender. However, it’s time to prove that their talent on paper can be translated to the football field.
