Buffalo Bills edge rusher Von Miller will be facing the Denver Broncos for the first time since he was traded from the club midway through the 2021 campaign, but he is not looking to take out any frustrations on his former team.

“It’ll be fun. It’ll be different, for sure,’’ Miller said, via the Bills’ official YouTube account. “It’ll be fun. It’s not like a revenge game or anything like that. I left on good terms. We won a Super Bowl. I had a great relationship with everybody in that facility. I didn’t have any bad blood with anybody in there.”

Miller spent the first 10-and-a-half years of his NFL career with the Broncos and forged quite a legacy with the franchise.

During his time in the Mile High City, Miller made eight trips to the Pro Bowl, earned three First-Team All-Pro selections and won the Defensive Rookie of the Year award. He logged double-digit sacks seven times, and, most importantly, helped lead Denver to a Super Bowl title during the 2015-16 season. He also won Super Bowl MVP.

While Miller said he still keeps in touch with many of his former Broncos teammates, he says the fact that the club has a different general manager and head coach from his time there helps him view the Week 10 matchup as “just another game.”

Denver traded Miller to the Los Angeles Rams, where he went on to win his second Super Bowl championship. After spending just a half-season in Los Angeles, Miller signed with the Bills in March 2022.

He was limited to just 11 games during his debut campaign in Buffalo due to a torn ACL. During his time on the field, Von Miller totaled 21 tackles, eight sacks and a forced fumble.

The 34-year-old returned to the gridiron back in Week 5 this season and has struggled to find his footing since then, logging just one tackle in limited action.

The Bills are 5-4 and sit one game behind the Miami Dolphins for first place in the AFC East. They will battle the Broncos on Monday night.
