Jordan Allen, one of the standout wide receivers in the 2025 class, is among the few fortunate prospects to have received an offer from the Clemson Tigers. The Clemson Insider recently had an opportunity to catch up with the talented player from Buford High School in Georgia to gain insights into his recruitment journey and more.

When asked about the progress of his recruiting process, Allen shared, “Just continuing to talk with a couple of coaches here and there, just watching these bowl games, just scouting out all the teams that have reached out to me and offered me so far. Just staying in contact with those coaches.”

Among the coaches he maintains regular contact with is Tyler Grisham, the Tigers’ wide receivers coach. Allen disclosed that he communicates with Grisham “basically every week or so.” Grisham has been emphasizing the excellence of the Clemson program and his desire for Allen to be a part of it.

Recently, Clemson’s offensive coordinator, Garrett Riley, paid a visit to Allen’s school, and the young prospect is eager to make a return trip to Clemson in the near future. Although the exact timing is uncertain, Allen expressed his desire to visit “real soon.”

Allen made waves by visiting Death Valley for a couple of games during the season and became one of the first receivers in his class to receive an offer from Clemson during his visit for the Florida State game in late September. Based on his observations of Clemson’s offensive style, the speedy slot receiver believes he would be a valuable addition to the Tigers’ receiving corps, stating, “They get the ball to their playmakers. They do what they do and just let them go.”

Impressed by Clemson’s strong finish to the 2023 season, culminating in a thrilling 38-35 victory over Kentucky in the Gator Bowl, Allen praised the team’s ability to field numerous true freshmen who performed admirably. This showcases Clemson’s prowess in player development and their ability to prepare athletes for significant moments on the grand stage.

With approximately 20 offers in his arsenal, Allen identified Clemson, Tennessee, Georgia, and Kansas as some of the schools that are actively recruiting him. He affirmed that the Tigers still hold a prominent position on his list, saying, “Those schools that I named that are reaching out to me the most, those are definitely the schools that are at the top of the list.”
