The Tennessee Volunteers have extended a scholarship offer to Jordan Clay, a promising wide receiver prospect for the 2026 recruiting class.

Hailing from Madison High School in San Antonio, Texas, Clay stands at an impressive 6-foot-3 and weighs 190 pounds. Renowned as a four-star recruit, he holds a notable ranking as the 98th overall prospect in the 2026 class.

Additionally, Clay is recognized as the 14th athlete and the 13th player in Texas, showcasing his exceptional talent and potential.

This offer from Tennessee marks the second Southeastern Conference (SEC) school to recognize Clay’s abilities. Texas A&M initiated the SEC’s interest by extending a scholarship offer on February 3, 2024.

Clay’s talent has garnered attention from various esteemed institutions.

Alongside Tennessee and Texas A&M, he has received scholarship offers from Notre Dame, Colorado State, TCU, North Texas, Oklahoma State, UTEP, Arizona State, Baylor, Houston, Texas Tech, UTSA, and Campbell. With such widespread recognition, Clay’s future in collegiate football looks promising.

It will be interesting to see if the Tennessee Volunteers end up landing Clay when everything is said and done. He is a hot commodity in the 2026 recruiting class, but for now it appears that the Vols are in the running.
