A ton of questions have been swirling in San Francisco surrounding the future of 49ers’ star wide receiver Deebo Samuel. It has been very clear that he is unhappy with his current situation and trade rumors have been flying. Now, it appears that the rumors are not unfounded at all.

Even though the 49ers would love to keep Samuel in town, it appears that the star wideout may have other plans.

Samuel’s brother took to Facebook to reveal what the future could hold for the star wide receiver and the 49ers. Needless to say, things don’t look great for San Francisco is Samuel’s brother is actually on point with his thoughts.

Following the original comment, the 49ers’ star’s brother made another comment adding more fuel to the fire.

After those two posts, NFL social media was on fire. Everyone was talking about Samuel getting traded and what the 49ers would do after that trade. But, Samuel’s brother made yet another comment trying to calm down the hysteria.

Let’s keep it 100 percent honest with this situation. Anytime that someone makes truthful but poor decisions on social media posts, they try to backtrack. That seems very likely with this situation.

Samuel has been rumored to want out of San Francisco for most of the offseason. The 49ers have not made him a contract offer that he can’t refuse yet either. A divorce seems like a very real possibility at this point in time.

During the 2021 NFL season with the 49ers, Deebo Samuel ended up catching 77 passes for 1,405 yards and six touchdowns. He also picked up 365 yards and eight touchdowns on the ground. Those numbers would make him a very valuable trade target for almost every other team in the NFL.

Expect to continue hearing rumors about the 49ers and Samuel. The future seems murky right now and a trade could be on the horizon. These comments certainly don’t help the rumors if Samuel doesn’t want a trade.
