2. Julio Jones Racks Up 130 Yards, Two Touchdowns
After a disappointing season in 2019 and with jobs on the line this season, the Falcons are going to focus on getting Julio Jones involved early and often this year. They cannot afford to keep avoiding him, especially in the red zone.
Even though Jones caught 99 passes for 1,394 yards and six touchdowns, it seemed that the Falcons missed quite a few opportunities to get Jones the football more.
This season, the Falcons are going to have a legitimate running game with Gurley. That will open up the aerial attack. Jones will take full advantage of that this week against the Seahawks.
When everything is said and done, Jones will have caught 10 passes for 130 yards and two touchdowns. He hasn’t caught double-digit touchdowns since his second NFL season back in 2012, but that will change this year.
