Las Vegas Raiders superstar Davante Adams may be the most intriguing potential trade candidate ahead of the Oct. 31 NFL trade deadline. He could also be a target for the Baltimore Ravens.

Adams expressed displeasure with the Las Vegas Raiders following the club’s 23-18 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers this past Sunday, criticizing the organizational culture and stating that he did not have time to just wait around.

The Raiders acquired the star wide receiver in a blockbuster deal with the Green Bay Packers back in March 2022, but they went just 6-11 in his first season and have gone 1-2 thus far in 2023.

As a result, Adams is frustrated, leading some to wonder whether or not the veteran will try to force his way out of Las Vegas in the coming weeks.

Should that occur, former NFL wide out DeSean Jackson thinks the Ravens represent an ideal landing spot for Adams.

While it’s an interesting proposition, you have to wonder if Adams would actually want to go to Baltimore.

Since Lamar Jackson took the reins as the Ravens’ starting quarterback in 2018, the wide receiver position has not been a priority for the club. Instead, Baltimore has invested heavily in the run, building its team around Jackson’s primary strength: his legs.

Jackson relies heavily on his tight ends in short and intermediate routes and is not really known for utilizing his wide receivers. For example, Marquise Brown asked for a trade following the 2021 campaign due to his dissatisfaction with his role.

Of course, Adams is 30 years old, and winning a Super Bowl is surely No. 1 on his list of priorities. Perhaps he would be okay with his numbers taking a hit in exchange for an opportunity to win his first NFL championship.

Davante Adams has made six consecutive trips to the Pro Bowl and has earned three straight First-Team All-Pro selections.

The Fresno State product has already logged 25 catches for 322 yards and three touchdowns this season.

Baltimore is 2-1 on the year.
