Chicago Bears safety Jaquan Brisker made some unflattering comments about the Green Bay Packers‘ receivers following his team’s 17-9 loss to the Packers on Sunday, and afterward, Packers running back Aaron Jones fired back.

Brisker initially started things by saying he didn’t feel like the Bears did a good enough job putting pressure on Green Bay’s wide outs.

“I felt like we could have tightened up on the receivers a lot more than we did today,” Brisker said, via Mark Grote of WSCR Radio. “We gave them too much room and I really have no respect for them at all, just to be honest … No one’s over there. No respect. They have no stars over there.”

Understandably, this does not sit well with Jones, who attacked Brisker on social media after the remarks.

“Isn’t it his job to cover them ?? Should have been a easy day at work, right? If we got no one over there. Rent was due today!!!!!!” Jones wrote on his X account.

Jones wasn’t the only Packers star to respond to Brisker, either.

Linebacker Preston Wilson also got in on the fun.

“Man look like he ain’t do his job… gotta plan that offseason now and get front row seats from the couch,” Wilson posted on X.

While Brisker is right in that Green Bay does not have any big-name receivers, the Packers’ pass-catchers certainly burned Chicago’s secondary in the season finale.

Jayden Reed led the way with four catches for 112 yards and Dontayvion Wicks contributed six receptions for 61 yards and a couple of touchdowns. In addition, Bo Melton chipped in with five grabs for 62 yards.

The Packers ended the campaign without a 1,000-yard campaign, but there is no question that they are teeming with young talent in their receiving corps.

Aaron Jones and Co. clinched a playoff berth with their win over the Bears. They will take on the Dallas Cowboys in the Wild Card Round next Sunday.
