Green Bay Packers running back Aaron Jones has had quite a bit of success against the Dallas Cowboys throughout his NFL career.

This past Sunday, Jones carried the ball 21 times for 118 yards and three touchdowns in the Packers’ blowout win over the Cowboys in the Wild Card Round of the playoffs, giving him his fourth straight 100-yard performance to go along with at least one score against Dallas.

That makes Jones just the second player in league history to rush for at least 100 yards and one touchdown against another opponent in four straight games. The other? Former San Diego Chargers superstar LaDainian Tomlinson, who did it against the Cleveland Browns (h/t OptaSTATS).

Not only was this Jones’ fourth consecutive 100-yard outing against the Cowboys, but it was also his fourth straight 100-yard showing this season.

Through the first 14 weeks of the year, Jones did not log 100 yards once. Much of that was due to injuries, as Jones missed six games during that span. However, now that Jones is healthy, he has heated up at exactly the right time.

On the season overall, the 29-year-old has rushed for 656 yards and a couple of touchdowns while averaging 4.6 yards per carry. He has also caught 30 passes for 233 yards and a score.

Jones, who played his collegiate football at UTEP, was selected by the Packers in the fifth round of the 2017 NFL Draft.

He has had an impressive career, making one Pro Bowl in 2020. That season, he racked up 1,104 yards and nine touchdowns while recording a robust 5.5 yards per attempt. He also led the league with 16 rushing touchdowns in 2019.

Aaron Jones and the Packers will now head further out west to battle the San Francisco 49ers in the Divisional Round of the playoffs this Saturday.
