Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback Trevor Lawrence may be a bit hobbled, but head coach Doug Pederson provided an encouraging update on him Wednesday.

While speaking to the media at his press conference, Pederson said that Lawrence will likely be practicing without any restrictions on Wednesday.

“Should be, yes, should be — shouldn’t have to limit him today,” Pederson said, via Myles Simmons of Pro Football Talk.

Lawrence suffered a high-ankle sprain late in his team’s Week 13 loss to the Cincinnati Bengals. The signal-caller also refused a cart and decided to walk to the locker room, a decision which was highly scrutinized given how long the trek was.

The good news is that Lawrence’s injury was not nearly as severe as initially anticipated, and the journey to the locker room obviously did not have any serious adverse effects.

Lawrence ended up taking the field this past Sunday and went 28-for-50 with 257 yards, three touchdowns and three interceptions in a loss to the Cleveland Browns. While it certainly wasn’t his best effort, the fact that Lawrence threw 50 passes means that his ankle must be feeling alright.

The fact that the Jaguars are apparently allowing Lawrence to practice without any limits this week indicates that he must be feeling pretty good and should absolutely be a full go for Jacksonville’s pivotal Week 15 matchup with the Baltimore Ravens this weekend.

On the season overall, Trevor Lawrence has thrown for 3,261 yards, 17 touchdowns and 10 interceptions in what has been a disappointing campaign for the 24-year-old. He is also completing 66.6 percent of his passes while posting a passer rating of 91.2.

It’s certainly a step back from last year, when the Clemson product totaled 4,113 yards, 25 touchdowns and eight picks while also leading Jacksonville to a thrilling come-from-behind playoff win over the Los Angeles Chargers in the Wild Card Round.

The Jags are 8-5 and are clinging to a one-game lead over the Indianapolis Colts and Houston Texans in the AFC South. They have lost two straight contests.
