As the season rolls on for the New York Jets, they will be getting a familiar face back in the facility soon.

It has been a tough season for the New York Jets so far despite them having a 1-1 record. In just the first few plays of the season, the Jets saw their Super Bowl hopes vanish with the injury to Aaron Rodgers.

Due to the torn Achilles, Rodgers has been ruled out for the rest of the season, and it has resulted in the Jets turning to Zach Wilson once again. While this season seems like a lost cause for the Jets now, a lot of the speculation has been about what the future of Aaron Rodgers will be.

While we await for Rodgers’ plans for next season, Robert Saleh recently stated that Rodgers will be back at the facility pretty soon.

Having Rodgers back in the building will be a good thing for the Jets and should be a good thing for Wilson. By all accounts, Rodgers has been a very good mentor for Wilson and it seems like that would be a good thing for Wilson in the film room.

Even though his reputation coming from Green Bay wasn’t the best, Rodgers seemed like he was a team guy and a true leader for the Jets. With Rodgers back in the building, it will be interesting to see if the play of Wilson improves. In the preseason, Wilson looked pretty good compared to what we have seen so far in the regular season. While that could be because of the level of competition, it could have also been partially because of Rodgers’ mentorship.

Hopefully for the Jets, getting Rodgers back in the building will help not only Wilson but the entire team. Furthermore, we will have to wait and see what the future holds for Rodgers in terms of playing next season.
