Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce got to see a former teammate of his last week, as he and the Chiefs defeated Tyreek Hill and the Miami Dolphins in Germany.

Hill spent the first six years of his career in Kansas City and won a Super Bowl with the club and has flourished since being traded to the Dolphins two offseasons ago.

Following the Chiefs’ 21-14 win over Miami, Kelce raved about Hill on his New Heights Podcast with his brother (and Philadelphia Eagles center) Jason.

“Seeing him live, he’s got to be the best ticket in the NFL,” Kelce said to his brother. “Seeing that dude live is the most exciting thing you can see in the NFL. It’s unbelievable. You put him with [Jaylen] Waddle and all the other speedsters that they have and that’s a damn good and exciting offense to play in, I’m sure.”

Hill leads the NFL in both receiving yards (1,076) and receiving touchdowns (eight) this season and is on pace to set the single-season record for receiving yards.

While Hill has gotten more recognition in South Beach, Kelce thinks the wide out was just as good when he was in Kansas City.

“I don’t think he ever got the credit he deserved for being the best receiver in the league when he was here,” Travis Kelce said. “I think him going to Miami and doing essentially the same thing he was doing here and taking it up a notch. He’s finally being regarded as the best receiver in the league and I think that was something he always knew in his heart he was, and we were always telling people, but it’s just good to see now.”

Tyreek Hill has made the Pro Bowl in each of his first seven NFL campaigns and has also earned four First-Team All-Pro selections in the process.

The 29-year-old hauled in 119 receptions for 1,710 yards and seven scores during his debut season with the Dolphins last year.

The Chiefs are 7-2 while the Dolphins are 6-3.
