Dolphins’ Tyreek Hill Gets Honest About Hall Of Fame Aspirations

When the Kansas City Chiefs traded wide receiver Tyreek Hill to the Miami Dolphins in March 2022, some wondered how Hill would adjust to life without Patrick Mahomes.

Needless to say, he has adjusted just fine.

Hill has firmly established his reputation as one of the best receivers in the NFL with the Dolphins and is coming off of a monster 2023 campaign in which he hauled in 119 receptions while leading the league in receiving yards (1,799) and receiving touchdowns (13).

He earned his eighth Pro Bowl appearance in as many seasons for his effort, and he also notched First-Team All-Pro honors for the fifth time.

Hill also has a Super Bowl to his name from his Chiefs playing days and seems well on track to becoming a first ballot Hall-of-Famer down the line.

However, the 29-year-old still thinks he has one more thing left to do in order to cement his status in Canton.

“I need one more Super Bowl, I think,” Hill said during an appearance on the Millions Worth of Game podcast.

Hill is just being modest here.

If the Western Alabama product continues at his current trajectory, there is little doubt that he will be in the Hall of Fame one day, and as a first-ballot selection.

In his eight NFL campaigns, Hill has logged six 1,000-yard seasons, and the last two years, he has racked over 1,700 yards both times. He also finished top 10 in MVP voting each of the past two seasons, and he also placed second in Offensive Player of the Year voting in 2023.

More than likely, Tyreek Hill will end up being a first-ballot Hall-of-Famer, regardless of whether or not he wins another Super Bowl. The extra ring will just be the cherry on top.
