NFL Exec Reveals Major Injury Prediction For Jets’ Aaron Rodgers

Aaron Rodgers, Jets

Recently, a former NFL Executive spoke to us here at the NFL Analysis Network and stated that he believes Aaron Rodgers will be back this season for the New York Jets.

For the Jets, it has been a roller coaster ride of a season. With so much hype coming into the year, New York suffered a devastating blow to their team when Aaron Rodgers went down on the fourth play of the game for the Jets offense.

Without Rodgers, the Jets have been surviving this season thanks to a great defense and some young talent at the skill positions. With a 4-3 record heading into Week 9 and some winnable games on the schedule for the rest of the season, making the playoffs is a possibility for the Jets.

While making the playoffs is the No.1 goal for the Jets right now, there has been a lot of speculation about when Rodgers might return. With some rumors about a possible return this season, a former NFL executive said this to us.

“Not only do I think Aaron Rodgers will actually return from the Achilles this season, I think he’ll do so looking just like his old self. Every time Rodgers has been doubted, he has proven everyone wrong. This will not be any different.”

A return this season for Rodgers would be a wild chapter to the story of the 2023 Jets. Recovering from an Achilles is generally one of the longest injuries to come back from, but Rodgers has seemed determined to beat the timeline of a normal recovery.

If Rodgers is going to return this season, it would likely depend on the Jets’ chances to make the playoffs. As of now, the Jets are in a pretty good position to be competing for a playoff spot late in the season, and a potential Rodgers return could come in must-win situations late in the season.

A return of Aaron Rodgers this season would be one of the best sports stories of the season, especially if the Jets were able to snap their playoff drought with him under center. Hopefully, he continues to heal up and we see him back on the field sooner rather than later.
