Detroit Lions – The Pass Rush

During the 2019 season, there was a major glaring hole on the defensive side of the football for the Detroit Lions. That would be their pass rush.

When everything was said and done, the Lions finished the season with just 28 sacks. That tied them for second to last in the NFL with the Atlanta Falcons and Seattle Seahawks. If the Lions want to get their defense back on track, it will take a much more lethal pass rush.

Detroit didn’t focus on their pass rush much this offseason. They added a couple of small pieces, but nothing that will make a massive difference. If their pass rush doesn’t improve, the Lions could be in for a tough defensive season.
