Minnesota Vikings – Potential Cornerback Issues

For the Minnesota Vikings, the defense is a major question mark. Specifically, the Vikings lost a ton of talent at cornerback this offseason. Both Xavier Rhodes and Mackensie Alexander left town this offseason, as did Trae Waynes.

Looking ahead to the 2020 NFL season, the Vikings are slated to go up against a talented group of NFC North offenses with Mike Hughes and Jeff Gladney as their starting duo at cornerback. Both players have potential, but they are unproven.

Over the last few years, the Vikings have hung their hat on the defensive side of the ball. Their secondary is a major concern at this point in time. Minnesota may prove this weakness wrong, but right now there is cause for concern.
