NFL: Will Aaron Rodgers or Drew Brees have a better 2020 season?

When comparing New Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees with Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers, there is much in common.

Two future Hall of Fame quarterbacks, two storied careers, filled to the brim with triumphs, setbacks and big wins. Last year, both quarterbacks took their teams to great heights. Both made the playoffs before bowing out just short of their goals.

With Drew Brees retirement looming in the very near future, and Aaron Rodgers potential replacement Jordan Love drafted, some of the biggest questions for the 2020 season come in the form of the future of these two quarterbacks.

Both teams have loaded up in the offseason and for good reason. Both quarterbacks struggled with a lack of help last year. Michael Thomas and Davante Adams provided pretty much the only receiving threats for both men under center.

However, one team that set their quarterback up for success in a much more effective way, changing and upgrading at nearly every part of their offensive set up—the New Orleans Saints.

With Brees abilities and supporting cast around him, he’s set up to have a better season than the Green Bay Packers quarterback opposite him.

Let’s break down the specifics.
