The Green Bay Packers are gearing up for the 2020 NFL season, which is right around the corner. Even after suffering through a strange offseason due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the expectations are high in Green Bay. Davante Adams is going to need to step up in a big way if the Packers want to compete for a Super Bowl.

After making it to the NFC Championship Game following a 13-3 season, the Packers failed to make any major additions this offseason. One of the main needs was a legitimate No. 2 wide receiver to take pressure off of Adams.

Green Bay did sign Devin Funchess in free agency, but he chose to opt out of the season due to concerns surrounding the pandemic. That leaves the Packers with familiar faces behind their superstar receiver.

Names like Allen Lazard, Marquez Valdes-Scantling, and Equanimous St. Brown need to mature and mature quickly. Adams will still be the heavy go-to target. Even without extra help, he is expected to have another big year.

All of that being said, let’s dive in and take a look at two massive bold predictions for Davante Adams this season with the Packers.
