Must Win Games Against Good Teams

The Green Bay Packers are coming into 2020 with one of the toughest schedules in the NFL. They are scheduled to face two of the toughest conferences in the NFL, both the NFC South and AFC South. Both of these divisions have teams that improved dramatically in the offseason.

The Bucs scored a legendary QB, a legendary tight end, and still have one of the best-receiving duos in the NFL. The Colts’ offensive line is dominant, they signed veteran Philip Rivers, and look to be a team on the rise.

While the Bucs and Colts improved, let’s not forget the teams who were great last season. In the AFC South, the Titans are coming off an AFC Championship Game appearance, the Texans are always one of the best teams in the league. The Saints are still one of the most talented rosters in the league. It will be tough for Green Bay, but they need to win these games in order to have a shot at the Super Bowl.

Although the Packers face a tough run against the two southern NFL conferences, the rest of their schedule is no cake walk. The Packers will face off against the 49ers in a rematch of the NFC Championship. Green Bay must also face the NFC East reigning champion Philadelphia Eagles.

While some may look at this tough schedule as a setback, Green Bay could look at this as an opportunity. Playing this many quality teams would only better prepare them for when the playoffs come.
