After their impressive showing in Week 1 preseason action against the Cincinnati Bengals, the Green Bay Packers have to be feeling very good. Jordan Love looked great and the team as a whole appears ready for the start of the season. They may or may not end up being a contender in the NFC this season, but there are plenty of reasons for the fans to be excited.

Now, gearing up for Week 2 preseason play, the Packers have received a concerning injury update on defensive star tackle Kenny Clark.

Clark is one of the best defensive linemen in the NFL and has been for years now. However, any time a player goes out with any kind of back injury, it’s a troubling bit of news.

Granted, this could be nothing. He could simply be sitting out for precaution reasons. Despite that fact, no one likes to hear about a player dealing with back injuries.

During the 2022 NFL season, Clark ended up playing in 17 games. He racked up 53 total tackles to go along with four sacks, a forced fumble, and a fumble recovery. Standing in at 6-foot-3 and 315 pounds, he’s an absolutely terrorizing presence on the defensive line for opposing teams to game-plan against.

Hopefully, this is nothing to worry about and Clark will be back on the field soon. He truly is a cornerstone to what the Packers are trying to do.

Make sure to check back for updates on Kenny Clark and the Packers. We should hear more information soon and will make those updates known as soon as they’re out.
