Clelin Ferrell Breaks Out In Game 1
Las Vegas decided to draft Clelin Ferrell with the No. 4 overall pick in the 2019 NFL Draft. It was a move that brought a lot of criticism. Mike Mayock and Jon Gruden don’t care about the criticism and are still confident that they made the right choice.
During his rookie season with the Raiders, Ferrell ended up recording 38 total tackles to go along with 4.5 sacks, a fumble recovery, and five defended passes.
Those numbers obviously were not exactly what the Raiders were hoping to see from him. However, Ferrell has a ton of room to develop and has a top-notch work ethic. That hard work will show in Week 1.
Ferrell will be all over Panthers’ quarterback Teddy Bridgewater. He will record two sacks in the game and will also force a fumble. If Ferrell can take the next step, the Raiders’ defense will be in a good place.
