With the 2020 NFL season about to get underway, the Las Vegas Raiders are going to be a very intriguing team to keep an eye on. After taking a step forward in their rebuild last season, the Raiders could actually make a push for a playoff appearance this season.

Obviously, there are a lot of things that will need to happen in order for that to happen. However, the Raiders have a lot of talent on both sides of the football and if everything comes together, a Wild Card berth is possible.

Offensively, the Raiders are hoping to see Derek Carr bounce back with a strong season. Just a few short years ago, he was viewed as one of the top up-and-coming quarterbacks in the game. Josh Jacobs has star potential and while Tyrell Williams is out due to injury, Henry Ruggs III brings a ton of playmaking ability to the field.

On the defensive side of the football, the Raiders will be hoping for some development from young talent. They also brought in a huge piece in free agency with the signing of linebacker Cory Littleton.

All of that being said, let’s take a look at three brief bold predictions for the Raiders in Week 1 against the Carolina Panthers.
