Las Vegas Raiders wide receiver Davante Adams is one of the true stars in the league. He is dominant in every facet of the position, cementing himself as one of the top wide receivers in the NFL.

In the opinion of some people, he is the best wide receiver in the league. Building a case against that certainly isn’t easy. The No. 53 overall pick in the 2014 NFL Draft by the Green Bay Packers has consistently been amongst the most productive players in the NFL for the better part of the last decade.

Davante Adams has made the Pro Bowl team in six consecutive seasons and recorded at least 885 receiving yards in seven straight. In each of the last three seasons, he has been a member of the All-Pro First Team as well.

On top of that, in six out of the last seven seasons, Davante Adams has record double-digit receiving touchdowns. He has a nose for the end zone and has been a prolific producer throughout his career.

While some people are going to question whether or not he can keep it up, as he will be catching passes from someone other than Derek Carr or Aaron Rodgers for the first time since high school, it would not be smart to bet against him. Jimmy Garoppolo may not be a superstar, but he is more than capable of getting the ball into the hands of his best playmaker.

Heading into the 2023 season, Davante Adams could continue making his way up the NFL history books. Right now, he has 87 receiving touchdowns in his career. If he can record at least 14 this season, he will jump into the top 10 on the all-time list.

The Fresno State product is currently tied for 15th with Andre Reed and should steadily make his way up the list this season. 14 touchdown receptions would give him 101 in his career, putting him ahead of Tim Brown and Steve Largent, who are tied for ninth with 100 apiece.

Davante Adams would be surpassing multiple Hall of Famers on this ascension, as he is approaching all-time great levels. With how much he has produced in recent seasons, there are a lot of names in trouble of falling down the list in the coming years.
