Green Bay Packers quarterback Jordan Love is the toast of the NFL, and San Francisco 49ers linebacker Fred Warner understands the challenge that he and his club will be facing when they take on Love and the Packers in the Divisional Round of the playoffs this Saturday.

“Jordan Love played the game of his life in his playoff debut. He’s been phenomenal down the stretch,” Warner said on his “Warner House” podcast. “It’s gonna be a huge test for us this weekend. I’m not taking the Packers lightly. The Cowboys must’ve taken the Packers lightly.”

The Packers hammered the Cowboys by a score of 48-32 in the Wild Card Round this past weekend. The score does not indicate how much of a blowout the game actually was, as Dallas scored most of its points during garbage time. Green Bay led 27-0 at halftime.

Love went 16-for-21 with 272 yards and three touchdowns in the victory.

“We are going to have to put together a great week of preparation,” added Warner. “I said from the start, whoever’s got to come into Levi’s [Stadium], bring them on.”

The 49ers went 12-5 this season, earning a first-round bye. Warner has been a big reason for San Francisco’s success, as he racked up 132 tackles, 2.5 sacks, four interceptions, four forced fumbles and 11 passes defended en route to his third trip to the Pro Bowl as well as his third First-Team All-Pro selection.

“It’s gonna be such an electric atmosphere, such a fun atmosphere to be a part of,” concluded Warner. “It’s gonna be one for the ages.”

Since entering the NFL as a third-round draft pick of the Niners in 2018, Fred Warner has played in all but one game. This has probably been his most productive campaign to date.

Meanwhile, Jordan Love threw for 4,159 yards, 32 touchdowns and 11 interceptions during the regular season while completing 64.2 percent of his passes and posting a passer rating of 96.1.
