Tyreek Hill Doesn’t Hold Back About Chiefs Defeating Ravens

Miami Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill is very familiar with the Kansas City Chiefs winning football games in January, and he witnessed it again on Sunday as the Chiefs defeated the Baltimore Ravens in the AFC Championship Game.

Following Kansas City’s win, Hill took to social media to credit his former club.

Hill is referencing Patrick Mahomes as “15” and head coach Andy Reid.

Of course, Hill spent the first six years of his NFL career with the Chiefs after being taken by the team in the fifth round of the 2016 NFL Draft.

During that time, Hill helped Kansas City win a Super Bowl during the 2019-20 campaign. The Chiefs also made the Super Bowl again the following year (Hill’s last season with the squad), but ultimately fell to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

The 29-year-old made the Pro Bowl in every single one of his campaigns in Kansas City, with his best season coming in 2018 when he hauled in 87 receptions for 1,479 yards and 12 touchdowns. That year represented one of three First-Team All-Pro selections he earned during his time with the Chiefs.

Due to financial constraints, Kansas City was forced to trade Hill to the Dolphins in March 2022.

While Hill has certainly not experienced the same type of team success in Miami, he has remained dominant as an individual performer. He caught 119 passes for 1,710 yards and seven scores during his debut campaign in South Beach in 2022, and this season, he racked up 119 receptions while leading the league in both receiving yards (1,799) and receiving touchdowns (13).

The West Alabama product has made the Pro Bowl while also earning First-Team All-Pro selections in each of his first two seasons with the Dolphins.

Hill and Co. fell to the Chiefs in the Wild Card Round of the playoffs earlier this month.

We’ll see if Tyreek Hill will be rooting for his old teammates when they battle the San Francisco 49ers in the Super Bowl on Feb. 11.
