A Veteran Due for a Breakout

At 6-foot-1 and 210 pounds, Coleman is a physical running back that also has the agility to break out into open space. Entering his sixth NFL season, there is no question that Coleman can provide significant production to the San Francisco 49ers backfield.

His biggest challenge is gaining enough of the workload to amount to a breakout 1,000 rushing yard season, which he has never accomplished.

Coleman brings something unique to the San Francisco 49ers offense because he can produce an above 4.0 yards per carry and is excellent in the receiving game.

He is built to be a three-down running back, and with this ability, he is able to step up if the San Francisco 49ers run into any injury trouble.
